A good friend with a garden...

These delicate lilac beauties only last a few days as a cut flower...but what joy they bring in those few days! The S.M.E.L.L. I am grateful to have a friend who shares her garden with me, as I don't really have one...from the hydrangea to the lilacs, to being able to photograph her gorgeous magnolias and stunning pink dogwoods. My son even enjoys picking her peas fresh from the vine and gobbling them up. She has birds nesting in one of her trees, some nesting in her sweet bird house, and hummingbirds that have just become regulars to her new feeder she just put up on the weekend. And my favorite bird, the sweet sounding chickadee frequent her bird bath...such simple pleasures of the everyday :) Joining Faith for her Simplicity Photography Blog Hop...her theme this week is FLOWERS.

It is a joy for "your friend" to be able to share it all with someone who can appreciate it as much as you do and who can relate to a crazy nature lover! Beautiful picture... J

Beautiful!! Thanks so much for participating in my photography challenge. I just visited your Etsy shop - it's brilliant. I LOVE the idea of selling your "jot cards" in an organza bag. Beautiful!
