Dusk treasury...

A pair of my earrings, Violet Baubles (top right) were chosen by a fellow Etsy seller Pulp and Paisley in her treasury...treasuries are a creative outlet for Etsy sellers to create a group of things that have a common theme. She entitled this one "Dusk"...so pretty!

Sweet pigeons...

Willow tree baubles...

These earrings are my latest addition to my Etsy shop...they remind me of the fresh new leaves bursting from the willow trees.

Dogwood sweetness...

I stumbled upon these dreamy dogwoods while walking in a very special park this Sunday...they were just so perfectly beautiful. Joining Darcy for Sweet Shot Tuesday again!

Teenager b-day gift...

My DEAR nephew just turned 13...he is now a teenager!! What do you get them besides hard cold cash, especially boys? My very good friend suggested a dogtag necklace...brilliant suggestion (plus some hard cold cash, of course)! So I stamped the one and only silver dogtag I had - only one shot at it!! And if he doesn't wear it...well he can always use it as a bookmark :)

Sweet bug...

Participating again in Sweet Shot Tuesday over with Darcy and Life with my 3 boybarians. Interesting Ladybug facts... - a female ladybug lays more than 1000 eggs in her lifetime - while flying, a ladybug beats wings 85 times a second - while eating, ladybugs chew from side to side and not up and down like humans - ladybugs produce a chemical substance that smells and tastes horrible...it protects them from predators and birds - a ladybug bites if you squeeze it, but the bite doesn't hurt - the spots on the body of the ladybug fade, as it gets older - in winters, ladybugs do not eat and survive on their own stored fat - the size of a male ladybug is smaller than a female - in many countries, like Iran and Switzerland, ladybugs are considered auspicious and symbols of good luck - ladybugs are found in many colours, some have spots, while some do not - ladybugs even use their feet to smell - average life expectancy is 2-3 years - there are more than 300 types of ladybugs in North America

Etsy Treasury...

One of my black & white fine art photos "Aging Gracefully" (bottom left) was featured in an Etsy Treasury. Treasuries are created by fellow Etsians, and usually follow a theme of some kind, and are only up to view for a few days. The theme for this one was willows...they are such a graceful tree. It's an honor to have been chosen :)
