This is with the white balance & noise reduction edit (although I shot this with 800 ISO, f5.6, 1/40, I still seem to have lots of grain - but for this subject matter I am ok with that. Normally I don't use ISO 800, but I did have poor lighting conditions)...

Joining Tara at Trendy Treehouse for Shutter Love Tuesday...her theme this week is "overlays". I shot a portion of some scrapbooking paper and used it as an overlay (can't recall exactly how I did it in Photoshop, I just kept playing). VERY new to overlays, so just having some fun with them!
Shoot & Edit is hosted by Jill at Forever'n Ever'n Always Photography and by Ashley at Ramblings and Photos. We post a shot SOOC (straight out of camera) with Jill, then on Thursday Ashley will lead us through tips on how to edit our shot to make it good to WOW! As my subject matter was different than Ashley's I just kept doing her steps over & over again until I came up with a formula that worked with my shot. I LOVED how Ashley led us through all those steps, because it did exactly what she hoped for...it encouraged me to experiment with the adjustment layers and layer masks. Still not sure which one I like the best - but so fun to play with! Will still need TONS of practice, but what a GREAT exercise! Thank you Ashley!
